Lawyers Without Borders Student Division

Lawyers Without Borders is a charitable organisation that harnesses pro bono work of lawyers from around the world into volunteer service in global rule of law, capacity building and access to justice initiatives. Their aim is to develop, manage and support initiatives in human rights and global capacity building.

At LWOB- SD our main goal is to contribute to our parent organisation’s global efforts by engaging in pro bono work through legal research and fundraising to help to spread awareness of human rights initiatives.

As a member of LWOB-SD you will conduct legal research regarding human rights violations, fundraise for our parent organisation, participate in debates and events in relation to our human rights initiatives, have the opportunity to compete in the annual Rule of Law competition at King’s College London and work with the local Race Equality Centre.
