Yemen Crisis

Updated: Feb 23, 2021

Yemen is experiencing the world's worst humanitarian crisis. Due to conflict which has its roots in political unrest, the people of Yemen have been suffering for years. Along with political conflict, civilians are subject to corruption, unemployment, and lack of food security. Thousands of children have died from severe acute malnutrition and 80% of the population (that's around 24 million people) are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance and protection. With a Cholera outbreak and with the development of Covid-19 cases, it is more important than ever to provide aid - without help, Yemen is facing extinction. More information on what is happening + donation and petition links can be found in our bio. Please consider taking the time to sign petitions and donate if you are able to. #SaveYemen Thank you to Poonam Dadhania or her amazing work on this project!
